Candle Safety Tips
  • Never touch or move a burning candle.
  • Always burn candles on a level surface away from any type of flammable material. Keep candles away from hot surfaces, fans, drafts and windows.
  • Trim your wick to ¼” each time before burning your candle. This will keep your candle from smoking and sooting.
  • Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. This will prevent the container from getting too hot and helps to maintain a clean burn.
  • NEVER leave a burning candle unattended.
  • To prevent tunneling, burn candle so the wax pool reaches the jar’s edge.
  • Discontinue use when the wax is 1/2 inch from the bottom of the tin/jar.
  • NEVER use a candle as a night light.
  • Always burn candles within sight.
  • Extinguish a candle if the flame becomes too high or burns too hot. (NEVER use water to extinguish a candle.)
  • Keep all candles out of reach of children and pets.
It is extremely important to follow all burning instructions and keep your soy candles away from anything flammable, out of the reach of children and pets.
